A New Look for Warhorn

Hey all! As you may have seen, we’re sporting a new look at Warhorn. After five years or so, we’ve traded in the old brown/green/orange color palette for a cleaner and cooler blue/gray/black skin.

We’ve also taken the opportunity to clean up the designs of many pages, reorganize various things for clarity and make navigational elements consistent across the different sections of the site.

Finally, there’s been a bit of a technology upgrade under the hood. Warhorn should be faster, more secure and more available than ever.

These changes have been in the works for a long time. We’re excited to roll them out, both to improve your Warhorn experience and to pave the way for the features we’re planning for later this year. More on that soon…

As always, please let us know what you think in the comments on this post, on Facebook or Twitter, or in email.

Good gaming!

It does not seem to load properly on my laptop. (Safari on OS X 10.10.5.) I see the text, but the layout is broken. I’ll give it a shot on another browser. (I have not tested it exhaustively, but loading, and reloading the main login page was broken for me.)

OK… Firefox has the same issue, which suggests that it’s me, not the site. Did you change how the style information is served? It could be something to do with the company network I’m using.

hey Peter, no, it was our fault. we screwed up and let the SSL certificate expire for our static asset server. this meant the site was unusable for most of today. we’ve fixed the issue now, so hopefully you’re back in business.

we’re super sorry about this; human error, totally our fault. won’t happen again.
