New premium feature: dashboard activity stream

Today we’re announcing our second premium feature for Warhorn subscribers: the dashboard activity stream.

We built on the event activity streams feature that we launched earlier this year to give you insight into all of the events you care about right from your dashboard. For now, those are the events for which you have registered, but in the near future we’ll allow you to follow any event you want.

In addition to event activities, you’ll also see the occasional broadcast from yours truly, alerting you to a new blog post or other site announcement.

Down the road, we hope to add more activity notification options, including email, RSS and maybe even desktop and mobile push notifications.

If you’re not yet a subscriber, you get the light version of the dashboard activity stream, with broadcasts but without event activities. You can subscribe directly from the dashboard to get the full activity stream as well as our first premium feature that lets you save profiles for each of your organized play campaign characters and choose a character profile when you sign up for a campaign game.

We’re looking forward to hearing your feedback on this new feature, here or on Facebook or Twitter. Enjoy!

Is there a way to remove this option from my Dashboard or even better alter the order of what it shown? I would like to keep the new feed, but have it at the end. Needing to scroll through all the announcements to see me game signups is annoying.

  2. Athos says:

Is there a way to either collapse this feature or move it to the bottom of the page on mobile? Right now, approximately 3/4 of my dashboard is filled by the activity feed, then my sign-ups and events below that. The things I’m interested in are buried.

I’ve swapped the the activity stream from the top to the bottom on mobile devices, and from the left to the right on larger screens. Let us know what you think!

  4. James Anderson says:

My list of venues is way down at the bottom. Scrolling down past my incoming games is a pain. Can we move it back to the top-right where it was? On a full-sized screen.
